Powered via jQuery and lots of AJAX, this widget also uses a PHP file to handle all server-side operations.

Quite easy to implement and add to an interface, the JQuery File Uploader also comes complete with support for drag&drop uploading, and a progress bar for the upload process.

For developer having problems, a debug widget is also included, which can also be hidden on the production-ready frontend.

If uploading an image file JQuery File Uploader will also show a small preview of the image (thumbnail mode).

A demo page is included with the download package.
